Clinical Services/Features

Radiology is divided into three divisions specializing in diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology (IVR), and radiation therapy. The Diagnostic Imaging Division deals with nuclear medicine, including the diagnosis of various diseases using X-ray CT, MRI and plain scans, as well as diagnosis using SPECT and PET imaging after administration of radiopharmaceuticals. The IVR Division treats various diseases while taking into consideration images such as angiography, CT, and ultrasound scans. The Radiation Therapy Division provides radiotherapy for many malignant tumors. This division also performs intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for prostate cancer and brain tumors. Our department is a training facility certified by the Japan Radiological Society. We actively hold conferences with many departments and strive to work closely with doctors in different departments.
